We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains.
The Ecommerce Product Sales Team is a global function that is part of the wider TTS Sales Organisation. The Product Sales function is a key function in winning TTS business, acting as an expert resource on complex, multi-country deals with marketplaces and consumer to business flows. The team takes lead in coordinating the banks overall response to these client opportunities.
The team and its individuals are measured by revenue growth, as well a component of origination and calling activity, but also by supporting key engagements and initiatives measured by overall franchise value.
The key objective of this role is to drive and support additional revenue growth and retention through winning ecommerce mandates with clients that are either marketplaces or consumer-to-business in nature, or have parts of their business that have ecommerce related flows.
The role brings thought leadership expertise and solution selling to drive increased ‘ecommerce’ solutions for clients. This will focus on cash management solutions such as payments, collections, accounts, connectivity and will interface with broader solutions involving trade and card. This covers clients across the organisation including Corporate & Public Sector and CCB segments.
This role reports to the Sales Director running the Ecommerce Product Sales function in the UK, Europe and Middle East and Africa clusters.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead complex ecommerce related deals end-to-end including RFP responses and client pitches.
- Support marketplace and consumer-to-business solution initiatives, through our collections proposition centred around Spring by Citi, as well as our leading global domestic and cross border payout capabilities.
- Positioning of future innovative solutions such as Banking-as-a-Service and Open Banking.
- Actively feedback and share new developments within the market and the competitive environment to Product Management.
- Review account plans to identify sales opportunities and support origination for ecommerce opportunities.
- Execute upon target list of in focus ecommerce names for the year, converting pipeline into actual sales revenue.
- Meet all Sales Management goals tied to pipeline management (CRM), Deal Review and Implementation Project Kick-Offs.
- Work with Implementation and account managers to ensure deals closed are handed over from Sales efficiently.
- Attend regular team and sales management meetings to report on performance and raise personal and team profile.
- Attend industry conferences representing the bank, meeting clients, gaining market insight.

Knowledge / experience:
- Significant financial services experience.
- Strong PSP and/or Cash Management product knowledge.
- Experience in being a Sales lead.
- Demonstrable sales conversion skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in driving thought leadership with senior clients and collaborating internally.
- Ability to operate to strict deadlines/timeframes.
