HR Assistant

**Job Summary**:
The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department. They will assist with recruitment and record maintenance for payroll processing as well as provide clerical support to all employees. The HR Assistant will also be responsible for compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies).
**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager
- Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Updating employee data on the HR system
- Processing documentation and preparing reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinating HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and taking minutes
- Assisting in employee relation cases, taking notes at disciplinary or grievance hearings, drafting letters
- Dealing with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or CIPD
2 years of experience as an HR assistant
Effective HR administration and people management skills
Exposure to payroll practices
Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Fantastic organizational and time management skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to accurately follow instructions
