Jackson Hogg are supporting a Nationwide Professional Services company in their search for a Business Support Administrator on a 3 month contract based in Sunderland.

**Job Title: Governance and Systems Administrator**

**Working Pattern - 3 days from home, 2 days in the office**

**Responsible to: Business Support Manager**
- To deliver high quality and efficient administration services as part of the Business Support Team.
- Working with the Business Support Manager to ensure coordinated support across the organisation, delivering on key specialist areas of business support.
- A diverse role supporting the central business function, requiring a combination of effective organisational ability coupled with a customer focussed attitude.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

**Business Support Team Support**
- To provide administration support across the Business Support Team, covering all administrative functions to meet business demand.
- General administration including organising meetings and events, preparing papers, photocopying, scanning, minute taking and answering the telephone.
- To promote the organisation
- To proactively contribute to continuously improving the service by making positive suggestions, providing constructive feedback and assisting in the implementation of agreed new ways of working.
- To ensure all policies, procedures and protocols are adhered to.
- To be responsible for own CPD and to undertake training and development as required by role.
- To be responsible for own and others health and safety.
- To positively challenge any practice which impacts negatively on an individual or service by taking active steps to escalate the issues as appropriate.
- To undertake any other duties as required by Line Manager.
- To keep all relevant records and information pertaining to area of responsibility and report information where necessary your line manager, working within the agreed administration procedures.
- To ensure that line manager is fully informed of any issues which may affect the quality of service provision.
- To attend all relevant meetings both internally and externally.
- To provide reports as and when required.

**Specialist Support**

**Governance**
- To support the delivery of performance reporting, annual internal audit schedule and research programme by requesting and collating data.
- To support services to implement and improve performance reporting to meet business need.
- To download reports from the key IT systems as required, analyse content and distribute to service leads and managers.
- To produce and circulate monthly and quarterly compliance reports.

**Systems**
- To support the Business Support Team to maintain key systems
- Administration of the CRM system and collation of incident reports. Liaising with system developer to set up new user accounts and authority levels.
- Ownership and management of governance information to be shared across the workforce and uploaded to the Intranet
- To ensure the flow of relevant information to the Finance Department.

**Personal Specification**
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in IT; English Language and Mathematics
- At least two years’ experience of working within an administrative role
- Experience of downloading and manipulating data to produce electronic reports
- Proven experience of working with a variety of IT systems and programs, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, face to face, on the telephone and in writing
- Ability to work accurately and with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to deliver high quality work whilst managing competing deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative to resolve problems effectively
- Excellent team player
- Ability to build effective working relationships with others (both internally and externally)
- Ability to understand complex information, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent IT skills
- Has a solid understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£20,500.00 per year
