- **The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a new **Junior Creative Technologist** to join our creative development team and help deliver applied R&D into our product roadmap, and innovation horizon scanning so we maintain our use of cutting edge technologies in all our products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and deliver software and hardware prototypes across a range of technologies in XR & immersive technologies;
- Support our Commercial and Product teams in building prototypes as part of sales pipeline & pitch presentations;
- Support the CTO in technology horizon scanning and dissemination of that knowledge to the wider company;
- Support Factory 42 creative teams by integrating/utilising and/or building software tools aligned with our strategic technology roadmap;
- Assist Factory 42 development team in maintaining and operating product demonstrations (including software/hardware/physical set & props) for external customers and stakeholders;
- Maintain well organised documentation that is shareable across the company;
- Deliver prototypes and product demonstrations following all relevant Health & Safety guidelines

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
**ESSENTIAL**
- Working in a team delivering immersive technology projects and producing work of an exceptionally high standard.
- Communicating with other team members to establish effective pipelines and timely delivery of work.
- Excellent creative problem solving, systems and design thinking skills.
- Excellent C# / C++ and scripting language skills, demonstrable Unity or Unreal experience.
- Hardware development skills, across a wide range of immersive technologies (e.g. audiovisual, haptics, robotics, displays, sensors, electronic circuit boards).
- Degree in design / computer science / engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving technology and creative innovations.

**DESIRED**
- Software Architecture Fundamentals in object-oriented design and data structures.
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity and experience using software version control.
- VR/AR/MR product development experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of key elements of game development processes from concept to product launch.

**Job Type**:
Fixed Term Contract - 9 months with view to extend.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm (with the option to flex hours)
