**Summary
**Venture Recruitment Partners are partnering with a leading international brand in Basingstoke in their recruitment of a Credit Controller on an initial 6-month contract basis. There is also the possibility of a temp to perm arrangement.
**Responsibilities for the Credit Controller**
- Chasing of outstanding debt;
- Initiate proactive chasing of debt, to ensure invoices are paid on time;
- Allocation of payments upon receipt;
- Responsible for gathering, sorting and tracking accounting records related to the accounts receivable credit and collections function;
- To achieve and maintain collection performance against target;
- Responsible for reviewing sales reports and generating sales invoices, reconciling receivable accounts and performing sales research, as well as making collection calls;
- Performs analysis monthly and quarterly to ensure all customers are paying timely and reviews payment history for credit increase requests;
- Assists with the month end closure;
- Performs reference checks on new customers;
- Weekly reporting to team leader with updates on debtors list;
- Take ownership of customer queries to resolution;
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications required for the Credit Controller

- Requires a minimum of two years of experience within an accounts receivable/billing or credit and collections role;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required;
- Ability to deal with difficult customers;
- You will be a hard-working and proactive individual who is confident with all aspects of credit control/sales ledger;
