A specialist secondary SEND school for students with autism are looking for an experienced ABA Supervisor to join their staff on a permanent basis from September.

**The role**

As an ABA/VB Supervisor you will have management responsibility for a team of 6 Applied Behavioural Analysis and Verbal Behaviour Tutors as well as a class of 6 pupils. You will work with the existing staff team and support tutors to deliver a learning programme based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and Verbal behaviour to support pupils across the school. You will induct and train tutors as required and provide ongoing line management and reviews. In your direct work with pupils, you will prepare and deliver individualised ABA programmes and oversee programmes delivered by tutors under your management. Your timetable will include 1:1 intensive teaching sessions along with paired and small group teaching sessions using ABA. You will be required to oversee pupil progress and ensure data is collected & summarised as well as communicated in review meetings.

**The School**

This small SEND school is based in West London over two sites and provides specialist teaching for both primary and secondary students with autism. The school uses the science of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behaviour with each pupil receiving an individual learning programme, to develop communication and independence. All pupils are part of a class group of 6 and in each class are 6 ABA tutors with a teacher/ABA supervisor as a lead. They receive 1:1 individualised support as well as regular opportunities for group teaching, social play and generalisation throughout the day. The school has good relationships with families and others in the community. The school is accessible by car and by public transport.

This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.00pm and all staff are expected to attend mandatory Training until 5.00pm on day a week.
