A professional membership body is looking for a temporary Membership Administrator to join the team on a temporary ongoing basis for 2 months.

You will be required to attend the office on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, for the first 4 weeks while you undergo training on their various systems and processes. Once you are confident with their systems and processes and can work more autonomouslyin the role, you will be offered a hybrid working pattern with 2 days per week in the office and the rest working from home.

As Membership Administrator, you will be working with a small and friendly team, reporting to the Specialist Societies Manager, where you will be responsible for your own group of societies providing a comprehensive support service to individual specialistsocieties ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of their operations, achieving a high level of client satisfaction.

This is a great opportunity to use your first-rate administrative skills and initiative to support a range of specialist medical societies with a varied programme of activities.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the day to day operations and organisation of specialist societies, ensuring all aspects of specialist societies services are professionally delivered
- To proactively respond to all membership enquiries and ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner and in line with the SLA.
- To update and maintain databases for all societies to ensure the integrity of the data; this includes updating member information, registering new members, recording member contact preferences and maintaining subscription information.
- To communicate with members regarding renewals and joining.
- To assist with the development of infrastructure, processes and systems (including IT, online/web, CRM and communications and general admin) to ensure efficient, effective and consistent service delivery to the societies. This includes payment systems,membership databases and online/web interface.
- To assist with the Direct Debit function, ensuring payments are collected in line with BACS rules and regulations and reports are processed
