Data Internships

**Start Date**: Summer 2023

**Duration**: 12months, full time

**Location**: Oxford (hybrid working - 3days per week in the office)

We have a number of exciting Data focussed internships available across the business covering Data Science, Management and Analytics.

These opportunities will suit individuals who are currently studying, or are graduating from, a Mathematics or STEM based degree, or those with a keen interest in these areas and are keen to learn more

**About the Internships**

Our Data internship programmes are designed to give you great exposure and responsibility within the world of data. With individual projects and wider team support, you will play an important part in assisting with the ongoing productivity and future development of the specific team you join and their impact on Perspectum.

Business areas and responsibilities can include:

- **Data Science** - research & development, analysis of large data sets, supporting with technical reports and production of algorithm specifications
- **Data Management **- data cleaning, supporting database testing and maintenance
- **Data Analytics **- standardising project trackers, analysis of imaging results and data collection for high quality reports and presentations etc, improving data analysis pipelines

**About You**

These internships are most suited to those who have studied, or are studying, a Mathematics, Life Science or STEM based degree. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have strong attention to detail and remain calm under pressure.

You must have excellent numerical and analytics skills, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills. Interested in problem solving and research, you will enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders and being solutions orientated.

Although not essential, experience using, or knowledge of, prototype coding (Python, MATLAB, R etc.) or other programming languages (SQL etc.) will be beneficial for some of these internships.
