Community Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and care to individuals in need, including children, seniors, and patients. Your role will involve various duties such as childcare, behaviour management, medication administration, and patient care. If you have a passion for helping others and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
**Duties**:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need
- Perform childcare duties, including supervising activities and ensuring safety
- Manage behaviours and implement strategies for behaviour management
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients or seniors
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary requirements are met
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, senior care, or patient care is preferred
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques is an asset
- First aid certification is required
- Ability to administer medications following proper protocols
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide empathetic care
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
**Salary**: £12.00-£14.40 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
