We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Computing Lecturer to join our dedicated and friendly team. As a Trainee Computing Lecturer, you will undertake a fully funded Teaching Qualification which will allow you to develop an up-to-date working knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies and know how to use and adopt them to provide opportunities for all learners to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities include:

- To design and deliver a wide range of effective and inclusive teaching and learning activities
- To assess the work and progress of all students and provide them with constructive and timely feedback
- To seek ways of improving student performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery
- Engage in professional development in relation to teaching, learning and assessment
- Contribute to course development and the development of new programmes of study demonstrating an inclusive and collaborative approach to delivery

Education & Training
- Degree or equivalent in Computing
- GCSE 5 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
- GCSE 5 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

Experience

Academic or industrial or commercial experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Cloud Computing
- Programming
- Security
- Data Analytics
- Business Analysis
- DevOps
- IoT
- Software Defined Networking
