General Operative

Asles are looking for a new member of the team as a General Operative/Driver. Asles are a long-standing company in the hire industry and supply of portable and mobile toilet/shower facilities along with varying other equipment.
Over the last few year Asles has increased its hire fleet as well as its area of operation, this means we require a motivated, flexible, and adaptable person to join our team.
Within many small teams, members are required to several tasks outside their main role to enable the smooth running of the business. As a General Operative your main role will be to service, maintain, repair and clean mobile/portable toilets and showers. This will also include a small amount of paperwork that goes along side each job. A high attention to detail and care would be expected as the events/locations in which our facilities are hired can have high expectations.
In addition to this you may be required to take on other task including but not limited to general housekeeping/maintenance of the property/vehicles and other hire equipment as well as the delivery and collection of hire items.
The new team member must be willing to learn, have good communication skills and have flexibility on working hours, as due to the nature of our business there can be some evening and weekend work, especially between April and September. Although we do not require any formal qualifications, Although those applicants with plumbing, electrical or mechanical experience and the capability to tow large trailers would be preferable but not necessary.
**Salary**: £10.42-£15.63 per hour
