**Are you an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter who is great at fitting Kitchens?**

Platform Property Care has an opportunity for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter to join our busy Programme team as a Kitchen Fitter and help us maintain and improve our homes in Worcestershire.

**What could you be doing?**

You will excel at fitting kitchens and completing other associated carpentry tasks, and you will be ensuring our customer’s homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard.

Based in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and covering properties in Evesham, Pershore, Cheltenham and Gloucester, carpentry will be your main focus but experience in other trades is definitely an advantage. You will need to have proven experience of fitting and installing complete Kitchens.

**We want somebody who can**:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

**We want someone who has**:

- Minimum NVQ L2 Carpentry
- Experience of working as a carpenter in the building trade
- You must be used to fitting complete kitchens and completed a large number of these in the past; this will be your main job and this is essential for you to be considered for this role
- Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council
- Associated trade skills of basic plumbing, plaster patching and wall tiling would also be desirable
- Experience of delivering multi-trade work
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of keeping jobs on track
- The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
- Full driving Licence
- As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
