Jewellery Sales Assistant

We are an independent, family run jewellers located in the heart of Chichester, West Sussex.

Our focus is on mid to high end jewellery with a speciality in bespoke jewellery design and manufacturing.

We are currently recruiting a full-time sales assistant.

Independent thinking is often required, having to use initiative to carry out work tasks and solve problems, often working under pressure to have jobs ready in a timely manner.

This role is for a 5 day working week (Tuesday - Saturday) with additional days being offered at businesses needs / seasonal periods. This is a permanent role, with Saturdays as a permanent working day.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. The role will include the following:

- Customer Service, speaking to customers face to face & via phone, completing sales, taking comprehensive details for bespoke commissions and building business relationships.
- General Housekeeping, Keeping the store clean & tidy with general window dressing and stock replenishment.
- Any additional tasks required to support the shop/team. The may include but is not limited to general admin tasks.

**Role Requirements**:

- Influence and increase sales in a one to one selling environment.
- Build the bond between our brand and our customer, by answering queries, providing exemplary service and adapting your approach depending on individuals personalities and needs.
- Learn and confidently share our product knowledge to maximise sales and provide an unforgettable customer experience.
- Store tidying and making sure display is in order.
- Always being alert while on the shop floor and following company security policies and procedures.
- Always being keen to serve and help our customers as best possible.
- Be computer literate with a good/functional understanding of and ability to use both Windows and Mac based computers, Word processing, Spreadsheets, web browsing.
- Be self motivated

Salary is dependant on experience - Range - £19,000-25,000
