**Job Title**: Community Rail Partnership Officer (Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership - YCCRP)
**Salary**: £31,099 pro rata
**Office**: Working with communities along the line and home-based (hybrid) working with very occasional travel to the office base in Barton upon Humber
**Responsible to**: Chief Executive/Delivery and Development Manager (Employer) YCCRP Chair (YCCRP activity)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 22.5 hours per week
**Overall Purpose of Job**:
The Community Rail Partnership Officer will support the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail
Partnership (YCCRP) in the development and delivery of their Annual Activity Plan, working
with communities and organisations (voluntary, public and private), education
establishments, local authorities, rail industry, station adopters, local businesses, rail
infrastructure and other relevant stakeholders along the Yorkshire Coast (Hull to
Scarborough) railway line.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Enable YCCRP to meet the ‘Community Rail Development Strategy: Connecting
communities with their railway - Helping local community rail to flourish:

- Facilitate achievement of the 4 pillars identified in the strategy:
- Providing a voice for the community
- Bringing communities together, supporting diversity and inclusion
- Promoting sustainable, healthy and accessible travel
- Supporting social and economic development
- Raise the profile of the Yorkshire Coast railway line (Hull to Scarborough), develop
relationships and work in partnership with local communities, businesses and
organisations along the route
- Develop and promote the integration of rail services with other transport modes
including local bus services, community transport, walking and cycling - working in
partnership with relevant providers and local authorities
- Facilitate the YCCRP Management Committee by organising Committee and Annual
General Meetings, working with the Chair to develop agendas, prepare reports and
updates, take minutes and undertake identified actions
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
**Salary**: £31,099.00 per year
