**Sherburn House **has recently had some new individuals move in and join the family which has given us the opportunity to recruit for new support workers.

You will be providing support to nine amazing individuals with a learning disability, complex health needs and life limiting conditions. We currently support 3 amazing ladies and 6 awesome gentlemen, between the ages of 19 and 50 with 6 being under the age of 25. They have a wide range of complex heath and support needs but we will provide you with all the specialist training and support you need to ensure you can support them to live their best lives, so no experience is required.

**Sherburn House focuses on**:

- Supporting people to be as independent as possible and continuously developing their independence skills whilst being actively engaged in their lives.
- Helping people to pursue their interests and make the most out of every day.
- Enabling people to be active members of their communities, build their social networks and maintain meaningful relationships.

**Your day-to-day**

Besides the day-to-day tasks such as:

- cleaning
- cooking
- laundry

and the things we all have to do to ensure we stay healthy such as:

- bathing
- oral care
- taking medication

You will also support our incredible individuals with creating memories that will last a lifetime. Recently we have been:

- skiing
- clay making
- visited Disney Land
- had a trip to London.
- Leeds Festival
- night clubbing

We are looking for staff to cover a range of shifts. We have contracts from 0 hours to full time available, shifts include earlies (07.30-17.30 / 07.30 - 15.00) and lates (11.30 - 21.30/ 14.00-21.30) with alternate weekends too.
