- Drive day to day activities to fully mobilise the project and gain approval of Project Initiation Document/Charter.
- Ensure a coherent set of objectives and deliverable are created
- Lead the construction of a detailed delivery plan which identifies key milestones, dependencies and governance points
- Lead the initial development of a RAIDD log and put in place regular review and escalation process
- Set up and lead regular delivery progress review process based on expected cadence of the project
- Define and schedule governance process including Terms of Reference
- Managing the project's budget - monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits and managing the budget forecast
- Ensuring the products and services delivered by workstreams meet the required standards for quality, time and budget
- Support the Programme Manager in managing consultancy services
- Lead and co-ordinate development of stakeholder segmentation and engagement plans and own key relationships as agreed with Programme Manager
- Lead and co-ordinate input into Balancing Cost project Communications Plan and liaise with Corporate Affairs
- Lead the identification and management of dependencies and interfaces between Balance Cost project and the wider ESO project portfolio projects
- Own production of project progress updates for relevant meetings and forums
- Experience establishing and delivering transformational change projects focused on implementing new business processes and ways of working
- Experience delivering change in operationally critical environments
- Experience in both waterfall and agile environments, supported by recognised qualifications
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Comfortable working with and challenging senior executive stakeholders when required
- Experience in the electricity industry preferred
- Experience of working in and managing within a matrix team

Recognised Programme/Project Management Qualification (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, APM, PMI) or demonstrable experience
