Collation Operative

**Collation Operative | Days | 4 on, 4 off |**

We are currently recruiting for a Collation Operative, working 4 on, 4 off, here at Yorkshire Baker. The purpose of this role is to support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the Collation Department, responsible for the movement of equipment finished goods and packaging ensuring that the collation team are achieving business targets.

**Main duties include (but not limited to)**:

- Ensure all paperwork and documents are completed in a timely manner and passed daily to the relevant departments or filed in the appropriate place
- Stock is issued to the factory correctly and received back in the same manner
- Work with other departments so as to ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out for safety systems on all machinery with your area of responsibility
- Involvement in the Risk Assessment process to include the reduction of risk, passing on ALL relevant information with respect to “preventative and protective measures, establish controls for Health and Safety responsibilities to include the implementation of the following: Daily Machine Start up Checks, Weekly Safety Tour, Accident, and near miss investigation, Monthly safety checks, monitoring corrective actions
- Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site
- Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area.
- Assist during internal / external audits as required
- Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies
- Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc
- Reliable with a can-do attitude
- Communicate effectively to other team members
- Knowledge of food quality standards
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards
- Organised and a good problem solver
- Ability to plan, prioritise, manage workload and make decisions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.78-£13.60 per hour
