**Job Title**:Internal Comms Lead
**Fixed Term**:12 month fixed term contract
**Hours**:35 per week (part time or flexible working will be considered)
**Location**:Home based with travel to different locations
**Salary**:£37,000 plus working from home allowance

**Key Purpose of the role**:
It’s vital that all 3500 of our colleagues feel connected with our charity’s mission, appreciated for what they do and who they are, and receive the information and resources they need to do their job safely and well.
That’s where you come in. We’re looking for someone with proven internal communications experience to put plans in place and help us take our efforts to the next level. You’ll arrive with ideas for how our deskless, mobile workforce can stay connected to the big changes we are making, and the practical digital skills to make that become a reality.
Reporting directly to the Head of Public Affairs, Policy and Communications, you’ll join a team of 6 communications colleagues who will support you to make this happen. Skilled at building relationships, you’ll work quickly to connect with colleagues from across the charity to support and coach them to share their news and important updates.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Experience of designing and delivering internal communications plans
- An excellent understanding of internal communications channels
- Proven change management and change communications skills
- Creative thinking with the ability to produce compelling ideas that engage and unite staff
- A problem solver that can translate complex issues into accessible communications using both interactive and passive channels
- Expectational relationship building skills across all levels of an organisation
- Alignment with United Responses values and a commitment to delivering our vision and mission.
