**JOB TITLE**

**Strategic Insight Planner
**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Strategic Customer Insight team play a key role in delivering insights that both reveal opportunities and inspire action across the business. As an Insight Planner, you will support the Strategic Customer Insight team to work in partnership with senior stakeholders across the business, ensuring insight is at the heart of key business decisions. Here you will use Nielsen and Kantar data alongside other sources to create and deliver compelling action led insight.

Stakeholders will include senior leaders across the business.

**The ins and outs**:
Reporting to the Insight Manager for Strategic Customer Insight, this role will support numerous teams across Grocery, GM, George to understand performance trends and inspire action. You will:

- Help the business understand our market share performance by communicating the performance narrative and translating complex data into simple actionable insights
- Be the voice of the customer - staying close to our customers and their needs to ensure that they are at the heart of key business decisions
- Own market performance reviews for key events, helping the business to understand our performance and opportunities for growth
- Run the insight sharing programme to disseminate key insights to the relevant stakeholders around the business in a timely and action orientated manner
- Be a key point of contact with relevant teams across the business; build strong and productive relationships, understand their needs and priorities and identify the best way to fulfil these
- Have the opportunity to deliver presentations to senior stakeholders
- Be innovative in thought, exploring and combining multiple sources including Kantar, Nielsen, trends forecasts, customer research, experience measures, finance reports and other insight sources into strategic project outputs
- Drive the use of Nielsen & Kantar data across teams, embedding self-serve tools and supporting on key strategic deliverables
- Manage all regular reporting for Nielsen & Kantar along with communication of these to the business

**ABOUT YOU**

**You will need to demonstrate**:

- A passion for driving change through action focused insight
- A positive attitude & curiosity is key - a willingness to seek out new information to help drive the business forward
- Project, stakeholder and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with a flexible approach
- Some experience of working with external experts on market data is preferred
- Confidence working with numerous data sources
- Ideally experience within a similar Insight or Category role, within Retail or FMCG (agency or client side)
