Relief Milking Opportunity

A great chance to join a progressive dairy team based in Somerset. We milk approximately 500 holstein and 120 jersey cows twice a day through a new Boumatic 40:40 rapid exit parlour. We are a high yielding housed herd with exceptionally high milk solids and we sell our milk to Saputo to make Cathedral City Cheese. Our housing, milking, feeding and calf rearing facilities are all built in the last 5 years and are designed to make life comfortable for the cows and easy for the dairy team.
We really love our cows and are looking for someone who shares the same qualities and wants to learn new skils. You will be milking with one of our young but experienced team and so you will be supported throughout the shift. We are also really keen to hear from people who haven't milked cows before but have the drive and commitment to be part of the Newley team.
Our milking shifts are approximately 5 hours so you will need to up for the challenge, but there is a great opportunity to earn good rates of pay on a single shift. We are ideally looking for someone who wants to do 3-5 shifts per week and is happy to help out on weekends if possible.
