Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk

A well established, successful and friendly Braintree business with 35 employees seeks a competent and reliable Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk.

Your duties will be varied and will include:

- Updating invoices and credit notes - Sales and Purchase ledger - on Sage 200.
- Bank payments.
- Aged debt and aged creditors.
- General enquiries - sales and purchases.
- Direct debit collections.
- Assisting with Month end processes.
- Assisting with VAT Returns.
- Setting up new accounts (clients and suppliers).
- Supporting the Office Manager.

We seek a versatile and flexible Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk who is happy to support the Accounts Manager and assist colleagues as the need arises - it is very much a team environment in which everyone supports each other. Sage 200 experience usefulbut by no means essential.

Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
