Activities coordinators will be responsible for creating and implementing physical and mentally stimulating activities for residents aged 50 and over.

Fundraising for activities will form part of the role.

Skills Required
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player

Role will include
- Supervising visits where appropriate

Activities diary management.

Scheduling and planning stimulating activities throughout the week for service users

Sourcing organizing and booking external entertainment within budget framework

Produce newsletters and posters. (Working knowledge of excel and word packages)

Assisting care colleagues to provide personal care or other duties where appropriate.

Reporting to Management team

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.62 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Care Home Activities Coordinators: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
