Leading an existing B2C sales team of two, and joining a wider sales team of five, this office-based opportunity would suit applicants with Team Leader, Sales and Office Experience who are looking to further their career. A team leader is someone who is confident with leading the retails sales team in meeting and exceeding targets, keep track of KPIs and understands the value of making as much margin as possible per booking.

You will be responsible for ensuring all systems & processes are followed by both yourself and the team and driving the team to strive for every single sale to contribute to the overall success and growth of the business.

It is fundamental to the smooth working of the business that you have an ‘open door’ approach to communication. Confidence and communication is key to succeed in this role.

**Main areas of responsibility;**

Operations - Oversee and complete/delegate day-to-day operational processes as instructed by the MD, including but not limited to overviews, review requests, event packs, call lists, balance chasers, etc.

Partner Management - Manage and maintain relationships with all activity suppliers through regular, clear and effective communication. Problem solving any issues with suppliers and escalating any unresolvable issues to MD

Customer Complaints: To be the escalation point for all complaints unable to be resolved by the key sales coordinator

Recruitment: In conjunction with the MD successfully conduct telephone and in person interviews for any recruitment requirements for the Retail Sales Department

Staff Training: Provide full training for any new employees recruited within the Retail Sales Department ensuring they have full knowledge of our key products and the capabilities to discuss them at length with customers.

Team: Carry out monthly 121 reviews with each member of the team, evaluating performance against KPIs and ensuring all objectives are being worked towards or met. Reporting any poor performance to the MD for future action.

Other key areas of responsibility will be;
- Day to Day enquiries and sales
- Take responsibility for both your personal and your sales teams pipeline & keep CRM up to date with detailed information.
- Full management of the customer experience pre & post event, including attending meetings, managing complaints and escalating where necessary
- Working towards team & individual targets
- Monitor the wider event market (from competitor research to feedback from clients) to better understand trends and client needs. Regularly report findings back to GM for assessment.
- Maintaining a positive workplace environment for all members of the team
- In quieter periods ensure project work is set for each member of the team and work on similar work set by the MD
- Be prepared to provide cover where required in other departments including the Events Team, this will sometimes include out of hours working. Such instances will allow time back in lieu as agreed with the MD
