**We are recruiting a Social Care Worker at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**: 0 hours / Relief
**Contract Type**: Casual
**Location**: Various locations in the borough

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Services.

**We pay an attractive salary of £12.59 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.**

The successful applicants will need to have experience of working in a care setting, be able to adopt a motivated, committed, and flexible approach to duties, this involves regularly weekend working, sleep-ins, and bank holidays.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- The ability to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale
- An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment ie, privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights
- Ability to work shifts on a rota basis and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleeping duties

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.59 per hour
