Lead AV consultant - AutoCAD
My client a growing IT/AV consultancy based in Central London, are looking to recruit a senior CAD technician to come on board and join there rapidly growing team
The role of the Lead Audio Visual Consultant will include the preparation and co-ordination of AudioVisual design advice for the development of projects across a broad range of market sectors. It will also require project management skills both during the designand implementation phases.
Leading client engagements and an in-depth understanding of how projects are run within the RIBA project framework are essential. This role would be a great opportunity for someone who has a wide variety technical and communications skills, has worked on avariety of design, build and fit out projects in the past and can identify and overcome issues in a clear, concise and logical manner.
Role and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

- Ability to develop detailed Audio Visual designs, reports, specifications, budgets, and equipment schedules from high-level architecture to specific end
- to-end component interconnectivity and configuration in line with RIBA Stages and client functionalityrequirements
- Ability to translate high-level AV, IT and Organisational policies and requirements into detailed designs and produce RFP documentation.
- Working with our Production Department in the preparation of technical drawings, schematics, and design details
- Ensuring applicable industry, technical, regional and regulatory standards are applied to designs
Required Skills & Attributes
- 3-5 years' experience within a similar role
- Industry related design qualifications (Infocomm CTS-I / CTS-D)
- Experience in designing medium-to-large scalable audio-visual systems including but not limited to o Meeting rooms/ boardrooms / training rooms o Auditoriums o TV studios and digital workflows o Public address systems o Video and audio conferencing o DigitalSignage o Theatre design o Control Systems / Home Automation o Broadcast Systems o Physical design (power, cooling, racks, M&E requirements)
- AutoCAD Skills
- The ability to plan and execute complex projects
- High level of IT literacy - Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
