Role Purpose:
The role of the resource planning manager is to determine resource requirements to meet the demand of the business via an Omni channel approach. This should ensure that the demand profile is understood in a 24/7 environment and therefore confidently ensuring shifts are aligned to customer demand, as well as being commercially viable, meeting service expectations.

Role Responsibilities:

- To constantly monitor and propose effective shift patterns based on customer demand
- To make recruitment recommendations and identify opportunities based on skill-based routing, demonstrated through capacity and sensitivity analysis
- To identify and proactively manage changes to the shift patterns to deliver improved level of experience as well as working as a team with Operations to facilitate a smooth transition as required
- An ability to maintain and communicate a formal historic record of changes and the given impacts
- To be aware of and record business, resource and seasonal changes, making the appropriate resource plans for expected changes in workloads as well as reporting on expected and experienced results.
- To monitor the requirement and liaise with the people team to make advanced plans to optimize the delivery of resource and skills, identifying when new groups and further leadership is required.
- To deliver effective and accurate reports detailing KPI’s as well as commentary explaining results.
- To actively develop and manage the Workforce management tool, owning the activity and ensuring a competent level of awareness is in the wider operational teams.

Experience/Skills required:

- Expert skills in using a Workforce Management tool
- Strong knowledge in and an in-depth understanding of manual forecasting methods and formulas.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to influence and articulate ideas.
- Expert skills in Excel for modelling and scenario planning
- Experience in working with outsourcers
- Knowledge in ACD telephony
- Team leadership and development skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
