We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial and Industrial Division as a Lead Training Coordinator. This role will be based at our site in Dalton, Thirsk.

The main purpose of this role is to provide Coordination support for the Learning Academy across all departments (Technical Training, Learning and Development and Early Careers). You will be a key point of contact, for colleagues across the business requesting to book training courses whilst providing a key role in organizing events, enrolling learners and liaising with external and internal providers. You will be expected to deliver a first-class experience across the Severfield Group whilst assisting the business in developing a learning culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate regularly with Colleagues within the Learning Academy, Learners, and Line Managers to ensure smooth course delivery.
- Coordinate a Training Schedule using data available in MyLearning (LXP).
- Coordinate course attendance enabling courses to reach capacity.
- MyLearning (LXP) management e.g. adding content/users, running reports, ensuring accurate records.
- Working with external training providers to identify suitable training courses using information provided by colleagues in the Learning Academy.
- Providing a point of contact for external awarding bodies, specifically in relation to Technical Training.
- Process purchase orders and invoices, dealing with any related finance queries from Suppliers.
- Preparing internal audits and data reporting in relation to training compliance.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide administration project support to the wider Learning Academy team where required.
- Line manage Training Administrator within the Learning Academy.

Knowledge and Experience:

- Experience in planning and delivering on outputs, with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrates ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
- Experience working confidently with IT systems (to record and provide accurate data).
- Assertive communicator who is comfortable working with external and internal stakeholders.
