Key duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the reporting requirements imposed by local authorities, regulators, and financial institutions in required countries
- Establish and implement robust processes and procedures for monitoring, controlling, and coordinating the submission of reports
- Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete compilation of data for each report
- Review and validate reports to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, accuracy, and consistency
- Stay up to date with changes in reporting regulations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders
- Develop a reporting calendar, including deadlines for each report, and ensure adherence to the timeline
- Maintain accurate records of all reports submitted, including relevant documentation and correspondence
- If needed, liaise with local authorities, regulators, and banks to address any queries or concerns related to the reports
- Monitor the submission process, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on report preparation, submission procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to optimize the reporting process
- Liaise with and assist other competent functions within the Company in the performance of their duties
- Establish and ensure effective collaboration with third parties and external service providers
- Participate in local and cross-regional team projects
- Conduct various compliance projects and other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience required
- Degree-level education or equivalent in Law, Economics, or related field
- Effective working experience as a Reporting Officer will be considered as an advantage
- Experience in the payments (or banking) industry is a strong advantage
- Excellent research and analysis skills
- Able to analyze and present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
- Comfort to perform both low-level and high-level tasks
- Able to meet deadlines and comfortable with changing requirements and priorities
- Confidence in decision-making and managing ambiguity
- Able to work independently, as part of a team and as team leader for projects (including cross-jurisdictional and remote teams)
- Strong people management and leadership skills, ability to run working groups/projects
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent English is a must
