We are looking to recruit a **Governance & Control SME** within our Pricing & Underwriting Chapter. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading and delivering our Pricing & Underwriting governance & control strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation & regulation, alongside the safe delivery of Pricing & Underwriting Change.

**What you’ll be doing**

Joining our Centre of Expertise within Pricing & Underwriting you’ll work alongside a range of P&U strategic experts who work holistically across the whole of our Pricing & Underwriting Chapter.

This is where your expertise comes into play, as you leverage your knowledge and experience, leading our governance and control strategy to enable our squads to deliver safely, taking our Pricing & Underwriting Chapter to new heights

**These are some of the activities you’**ll be involved in;**
- ** **Providing short and long-term strategic leadership on the P&U Control environment both internally and externally to DLG.**:

- ** Ensuring robust oversight of the P&U control environment including robust reporting and review of delegated authorities.**:

- ** Development & adherence to P&U control frameworks, along with legal & regulatory controls.**:

- ** Offering specialised depth and breadth expertise in Governance & Control; as the sme for P&U.**:

- ** Developing and empowering your team to deepen their governance & control craft.**:
**What we are looking for**

We are keen to meet enthusiastic, passionate and curious individuals with a breadth of experience across pricing. Key is your desire to ‘T’ shape, developing your expertise but also broadening your wider knowledge to enable you to embrace and deliver lots of different scenarios and challenges.
- Specialised depth and breadth expertise in Governance & Control, acting as the sme for P&U.
- Experience of successfully leading a Pricing/Underwriting or similar function.
- Ability to inspire and engage colleagues to do their best work every day with a strong external network to bring thought leadership to our function.
