New role with a leading provider of outsourced services initially for a 6-month contract. The role is to provide the P2P expert knowledge for the business sitting between the operational teams and the offshored FSSC. The role focuses on process design andimprovements to ensure the continued successful functioning of the P2P service to the wider business. The role will also be a key point of contact for larger projects and strategic development within the FSSC design including system upgrades, restructuringetc.

Core responsibilities include:

- Supports the business in the development of the vision, strategy, policy, and objectives for the global P2P process.
- Actively gathers external best practice information and analyses how it can be used to influence future changes to processes and strategy, presenting these recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Responsible for the identification of new improvement ideas based on an understanding of operational challenges or changes to business strategy, clearly defining requirements and expected benefits.
- Understands the diverse nature of the business and the various P2P activities that result ensuring that we deliver an appropriate solution to drive business efficiency
- Work closely with all regions to ensure as standardised approach as possible is followed, with full understanding of where exceptions exist and the impact this has on the BPO process and on the control environment
- Responsible for ensuring implications of any process design changes are understood (including any impact on controls)
- Define functional requirements for any system changes/new solutions that might be presented to the function (e.g., system integration, Europe business integration) and sign off solution design from AP perspective
- Works closely and collaboratively with the BPO Partner, driving continuous improvement in process operation and ensuring the dependencies are met - covering process, controls, and process governance initiatives.
- Monitors and maintains BPO service level agreements for the P2P tower.
- Ensure strong control framework exists and monitor its compliance
- Manage and develop two direct reports
- Extensive in-depth knowledge of P2P processes
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Leadership capabilities and personal gravitas.
- Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and key business stakeholders, preferably across multicultural teams.
- Evidence of ability to influence key decision makers and operational team members
- Able to step back from operational process to focus on the strategic challenges.
