At the CGM Group, we have our own team of highly qualified tree surgeons that operate throughout the UK. We’re proud to be an Arboriculture Association Approved Contractor, the only accreditation scheme for tree surgeons in the UK. We are regularly audited by the Association, so our customers can be totally reassured that they are receiving a consistently high-quality and compliant service.

What you'll be doing...

Due to our increasing workload, we have a position available for a Climbing Arborist, working in St Albans and the surrounding area. Our role will involve a wide range of tree surgery, from technical dismantles to formative pruning. Working for a number of private, commercial, and local authorities you would be expected to carry out a high standard of work.

You will never be in one place for too long. Travelling is required within this role therefore it is essential to have a full and current driving license. You must be hard working and have a positive work ethic as well as be able to work in a team.

Skills you'll need...

Applicants should be qualified with the relevant NPTC units with a minimum of 1- 2 years of climbing experience. Good presentation and communication. Must be a proactive member of staff with a passion for arboriculture and the outdoors.
