The people who work off-track are as important to Formula 1 as those behind the wheel. We’re seeking a Strategy Business Partner within our Strategy division helping to define and deliver the long-term Corporate Strategy and vision for Formula 1. This will involve working closely with the Formula 1 Leadership team, Directors of its commercial and technical divisions, finance teams and other key support functions - with senior level exposure from day 1.

As a Strategy Business Partner based in our London Office, your role will be to support the Strategy team across four main areas of activity:
Support definition of a long-term vision and strategy for Formula 1:

- Set an ambitious strategy for growth - defining key focal points
- Evaluate macro trends impacting F1 and refine medium/long-term strategies as required
- Define headline Goals/KPIs that are ‘north stars’ for F1
- Continuously evaluate performance against 1,3,5 year plans - creating an ‘always-on’ strategy

Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process:

- Partner with Directors to define project roadmap that delivers against the F1 strategic plan
- Support quantification and prioritisation of plans to align with the annual budget process
- Review of strategic initiatives vs benchmarks and top-down targets

Operate as a Strategic Business Partner to your designated departments:

- Provide dedicated support to your partnered business areas - building an in-depth knowledge of the department and the core value drivers
- Set ambitious department strategies aligned to the F1 Corporate Strategy
- Provide insights that support the identification and evaluation of new opportunities
- Create business cases for material growth opportunities and support launch into Business As Usual (BAU) operations

Lead on Corporate Strategy projects that span multiple business areas:

- Identify and evaluate emerging ‘white spaces’ for long-term growth
- Lead on corporate level projects that span multiple departments and commercial teams e.g. strategic market growth
- Specification Essentials:_
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience at a top tier strategy consultancy or in-house strategy at a major corporate
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, high-performing team
- Proven track-record of leading strategic projects end-to-end, demonstrating an ability to manage senior stakeholders
- Experience in Sports, Media and Entertainment sectors advantageous
- Strong finance and numeracy skills, with the ability to understand and interrogate key financial statements
- Commercial modelling skills - with advanced knowledge and experience of building Excel-based financial models
- Strong ability to create and deliver presentations that effectively communicate solutions and proposals to senior management
- Ability to research and distil large amounts of information and viewpoints into logical and easily-digestible recommendations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
