**Job description**

To provide skills and positive behaviour training, and deliver activities for Year 11 learners on our Summer School programme to keep them engaged throughout the summer period until they progress onto their chosen destinations in either college or sixth form in September. To provide innovative sessions with dynamic delivery to energise and inspire learners to succeed in their personal and professional lives.

Tutor start date 26th June (2 weeks preparation and training). Learners start 10th July. End date 1st September. Delivery Monday to Thursday with learners, Fridays no learners to prep, mark and plan. Early finish Fridays at 3:30pm.

**Key duties and responsibilities**

1. To provide meaningful training and support enriching activities for learners, including trips and activities. Activities will range from outdoor pursuits, sports, fitness, cinema trips, bowling, employer visits, etc which the lead tutor will support alongside qualified instructors.

2. To deliver classroom based sessions that provide evidence towards employability and personal development and underpinning behaviour needed for future life. Engagement units have already been developed such as Confidence Building, Preparation for Employment and Healthy Living.

3. To carry out meaningful reviews on learners to measure progress and identify actions and training needs.

4. To provide mentoring support to learners.

5. To ensure positive progressions for learners leaving **INSPIRE Training**. to Gower or NPT college.

6. To carry out any related administrative duties required, enabling the smooth running of the Summer School Programmes liaising with all management and administrative department.

7. To adhere to and promote **INSPIRE Training’s** practices and policies.

8. Any other duties as requested by your Manager, which may be necessary from time to time.

- An ability to work on own initiative and meet set timescales.

Contract length: 10 weeks

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,500.00 per year
