As an Aircraft Material Supplier, you will play a key role in keeping the British Airways fleet in the sky. In this role it will be your responsibility to ensure the receipt, storage and distribution of aircraft materials and tooling meet the operational and maintenance requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Transact aircraft materials and tools in accordance with the current technical procedures and processes.
- Deliver, move and distribute materials/tools to meet the needs of the operation.
- Ensure good storekeeping practices and quality standards are maintained to a high level at all times.
- Responsible for compliance with health & safety, environment and quality legislation.
- Maintain stock accuracy via a cyclic audit process.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Provide expertise in relation to Dangerous Goods & Road Transportation regulations (where relevant
- IATA/ADR course certification/knowledge is held).
- Receipt aircraft materials into British Airways Engineering in accordance with the privileges granted under approval of being an MIA stamp holder (in circumstances were deemed to be required by the business and an individual holds an MIA stamp).
- Exercise personal responsibility and reasonable care in preventing harm to yourself and others

**Shift Patterns**

On average 40 hours a week. 4 on 4 off Days
4 on 4 off Nights

**Salary**

£28,566 Days (Inc Shift Pay) & £33,477 Nights (Inc Shift Pay)
Rising to: £31,755 Days (Inc Shift Pay) & £36,666 Nights(Inc Shift Pay) pending post probationally sign off.

**Person Specification**
- A full UK, manual driving license with no more than 3 points
- Although full training is provided, previous manual handling and team work experience is desirable
- Have a zero-tolerance approach to security
- Good attention to detail and a meticulous approach to your work
- Must be hardworking and reliable with an excellent work ethic
- Counter Balance Forklift licence (preferable)
- Knowledge of Dangerous goods

**Requirements**:

- Due to the location of work being at the airport you must qualify. Therefore, you will need to be able to provide the following information:

- 5-year checkable history (employment, self-employment, education or benefit claim)
- 5-year UK address history
- Eligibility to work in UK (UK Passport, EU Passport, Non-EU Passport & Visa, Biometric Residence Permit, UK Birth Certificate & (British citizens only)
- Provide proof of National Insurance
- Provide proof of address dated within the last 3mths (utility bill, bank statement, HMRC Letter)
