**Receptionist / St Asaph / Six-month contract / £10.00 - £11.00 per hour / Hybrid working**

A national organisation based near St Asaph is looking to recruit a Receptionist on a six month contract. This has the potential of being extended or becoming permanent.The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and effective Reception, Switchboard,Registry and Mailing service for the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a leading Welsh public sector business.

Reporting into the Administration Manager, the duties will include:

- Manage a busy reception area to include the ability to multi-task to ensure visitors and callers receive prompt attention and help.
- Provide a full and effective telephone switchboard service, receiving calls in a polite and helpful manner, transferring them to the relevant employee or Department, or taking appropriate details of caller and message to notify the relevant person later.
- Deal with day-to-day enquiries where possible and refer caller to relevant Department, where necessary.
- Receive deliveries of all incoming external and internal mail, open and date stamp as required by certain Departments, sort as soon as possible and place in appropriate pigeonholes for relevant Department or Director ready for collection by Department staffor Personal Assistant.
- Deal with all outgoing external mail, franking all letters at the first class, second class or other appropriate rate after weighing items where necessary, put correspondence in appropriate bags and place bags in Mailbox for collection by Royal Mail atthe appropriate time.
- Log daily usage of money in franking machine and ensure levels of credit and paper are kept at required level for anticipated workload.
- Open incoming mail, scan and forward to relevant individuals.
- Carry out typing, data input, or general clerical and administrative duties, as allocated by line management.
- Manage the pool car bookings including organising servicing and providing advice on availability, fuel cards and how staff can be added to the Trust’s fleet insurance.
- Booking Hotel rooms for senior staff.
- Be the main contact for reporting building repairs and forwarding these for action.
