**Job description**

To be an ambassador for the hotel ensuring the highest service standards are consistently delivered throughout your shift

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- To assist the Front of House team in providing a warm and personal welcome, creating an excellent first and lasting impression for all of our guests
- Move furniture or equipment to help set up rooms for conference and banqueting functions
- Help assist guests with luggage for both arrival and departure
- Answering guests questions about the hotel and local points of interest
- To anticipate guests needs and to always exceed their expectations
- To have an excellent knowledge of all hotel facilities
- Ensuring that all public areas are immaculately presented and clean
- Assist the concierge, reception, housekeeping and food & beverage departments as required and to assist with any deliveries
- Ensuring that bags and guests belongings are properly tagged
- Responding to guest requests and making sure they are comfortable throughout their stay
- Answer queries about the hotel and make reservations where required
- Assist the front of house team with any VIP arrivals and room drops where required

Please note that this role entails frequent physical and manual handling aspects to include pushing, pulling and lifting.

**Salary**: £21,637.60 per annum until 31.03.2024, rising to £23,795.20 per annum from 01.04.2024
