We are looking for a Wages Clerk/bookkeeper to join our busy team.

**About the role**

**What will you be doing?**
- Preparing the weekly payroll for all Group Companies using Sage payroll
- Assisting the Accountancy team with purchase & Sales ledgers, cashbook & bank reconciliation

.Working on ad hoc finance tasks
- Working with Sage 50 Cloud & our own bespoke system
- Developing & improving existing systems
- Working to report timetables
- Checking the accuracy of financial entries

**Essential Skills/Qualifications**
- Working towards a Professional Accountancy qualification or Qualified by experience. We are looking for somebody with both Wages & Accounts experience.
- Proficiency using Sage Cloud Accounts 50 & payroll,Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A strong personality with a positive and confident communication style, with particular emphasis on telephone manner, allowing you to effectively deal with a wide range of inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and experience in managing a busy workload, working to tight deadlines and meeting your objectives successfully

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
