**Main Duties**
- To be a key person for a small group of preschool children
- working in partnership with parents and carers
- To help set up activities, supporting an enquiry-based environment
- To be aware of safeguarding and health and safety requirements within an early year’s setting and how to maintain a safe environment for the children
- To provide high quality teaching through high level interactions
- To attend in-service courses and meetings as required
- Taking an active role in the development of the preschool, contributing to action planning.
To work in partnership with parents, keeping parents informed of their child's progress and providing feedback
**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant level 3 qualification in Early Education and childcare/Early years Practitioner qualification or higher.
- Previous experience working with young children
