Pre-school Practitioner

We are looking for a Childcare Practitioner to be part of our hard working team, and busy nursery, we are not day care, we are sessional care and work from one playroom and a large outdoor area.
Must be Level 3 in Childcare and Education, with minimum two years employed experience in a nursery setting.
Must have very good knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding, Planning for children, Keyworker system as you will be doing observations/individual half term reviews on your key children.
Safeguarding children is paramount, must be DBS checked and on the update service.
Adhere to policies and procedures, risk assessments, cleaning and staffing rotas. To undertake any other routine tasks as required by management.
To work to deadlines from term to term.
To keep mandatory training up to date i.e Safeguarding, First Aid, Food Safety etc.
Attend out of hours training/staff meetings
To be able to do staff illness/cover work.
Must be DBS checked and on the update service, (this can be arranged).
Hours available 24 to 30 hours per week
Our opening hours are 9.00am until 3.15pm.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday 08.50am until 3.15pm approx.
Early start 08.20 on some occasions towards the end of term to complete development reviews.
These hours are non-negotiable.
Term time only. Holidays:
- February, March, May, July, August, October and December half term.
Hourly rate depending on age.
Wage is pro rata, will be spread over 12 months.
