JOB ADVERT FOR DOMICILIARY HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

Location: Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire Counties

Hours of work: 37.5 hours each week

**Salary**: £20999 per annum

**Requirements**:
Minimum 1 year experience in similar sector

Full UK Driving licence required with access to own vehicle

Care Certificate required

Required experience in PEG feeding

Medication competency

Strong communication skills for verbal and written tasks

Fluent English required

Able to rotate various shifts including daytime, weekends, overnight, bank holidays

Main roles and responsibilities:
Delivering Personal Care to clients in their own home

Driving to different client’s homes

Lone working but being part of a wider team

Identifying any changes to care plan and contributing to care plan formulation

Regular review of care plan and documentation of daily notes

Completing of incident forms, safeguarding referrals

Reporting any immediate concerns and following processes relating to falls and skin integrity

Meal preparation for clients and assisting in feeding where required.

Medication administration.

Assisting with transporting clients to medical and social appointments.
