**Salary**: Up to £40,000 basic plus uncapped commission

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

We are working on behalf of an award winning and thriving business, who is seeking to recruit an experienced Field Sales Account Manager, to manage a portfolio of clients spread across the whole of the UK. You will be strategic in your approach, with a proventrack record of success managing fleet customers and new business acquisitions. The purpose of this role is to manage your portfolio of prospect and existing clients, to convert mid-market fleet opportunities. This role is pivotable to ensure profitable businessgrowth.

Role and responsibilities:

- As a Field Sales Manager, you will be working on a consultative sales basis to generate new business from a portfolio of clients both prospect and existing across the UK
- Manage existing clients to understand their current usage and contract, and generate new business through the sale of extra products or services
- Manage sales process from lead to conversion with prospect clients including research planning, new business presentations, managing tenders and influencing negotiations
- Responsible for your own diary planning and organising meetings internally and externally
- Communicate with internal colleagues regarding leads, wins, financial records, implementation schedules and go live dates
- Daily use of internal CRMs and Microsoft packages such as Excel
- Work to achieve set sales and financial targets in line with the company strategy

Skills and experience required:

- Proven work history in field based Sales, Account Manager position is essential
- Influencing and relationship building skills essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
- Attentive, organised, results driven and tenacious manner
- Positive and enthusiastic mentality
- Experience in fleet management, car dealership or vehicle leasing is desirable
