We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Autonomous Maintenance Advance Team Member (ATM), based at our Ultrapharm site in Pontypool, part of the Finsbury Food Group.

Ultrapharm is a dedicated Gluten Free Bakery specialising in only Gluten Free Product since 1993. The Company’s unique approach to craft and baking creates premium gluten - free products with the flavour and taste of traditional bread. If you have special dietary need or nutritional preferences, then our Pontypool bakery has you covered. Our Products range from artisanal bread to our award winning Hot cross buns and Mince pies for Major Retailers such as M&S and Waitrose.

The role of the ATM is to maximise the performance of key line assets within the manufacturing department, developing a preventative maintenance system which ensures products meet all the specifications. You will be responsible for continuously improving the implementation and delivery of the asset care programme.

To be successful in the role you will be adaptable within a fast-paced environment, challenging and improving existing practices & procedures for engineering maintenance and site performance.

**This is what you’ll actually do**
- Support the delivery of stable, repeatable and consistent machine and asset maintenance, targeting asset performance improvement
- Day to day upkeep, inspection and minor repairs for safe machine operation, e.g. cleaning, lubrication, replace parts etc.
- Contribute to the development of, and where appropriate the maintenance of, the line's Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems
- Use of the CMMS system to record information regarding asset condition
- Drive continuous improvement in quality & GMP standards, managing changes in production plans and supporting effective changeovers, ensuring that all downtime is minimised
- Communicating & collaborating with the maintenance and operations teams on findings and action plans for improvements on the line.
- Understanding & ensuring compliance of the sites Food Safety, HACCP, QA and hygiene standards
- Champion a Health and Safety culture across the bakery, encouraging a safe working environment

**Ideally this is you**
- Understanding of asset operations and management
- Awareness of LOTO principles & guidance
- Problem solving skills
- Successful completion of an acknowledged / certified programme on basic machine maintenance skills.
- Basic engineering capability
- Knowledge of H&S and Food Safety Legislation
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong priority management, organisational and analytical skills
- Experience of working to set targets and deadlines
- Good work ethic is essential as is reliability and commitment to the company.
- Have pride in your work and add value to the company
- Able to adapt to changing priorities, demands and plans
- Previous experience of working in a FMCG environment
- Completion of an intermediate level food safety qualification
