Payroll Assistant

**Duties**
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS system
- Assist with data entry and verification of employee hours, wages, and deductions
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee information and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll audits as needed
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
- Support the payroll team with various administrative tasks as assigned

**Qualifications Required**
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or related role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in Sage Cloud software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 weeks

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
