Accounts Payable Administrator - 3 Month Contract - Newcastle - £12 per hour - Hybrid working.
Client
My client is a hard services provider present across the UK. They are a facilities and maintenance firm that work in the fabrics, mechanical and engineering sector and have engineers nationwide working with their clients.
Role Overview
The client is looking for an accounts payable administrator with purchase ledger experience to join their team to support nationwide administrative duties and services to the business. You will be working in a team responsible for the day-to-day administration of supplier and subcontractor accounts.
Working hours will be between 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Hybrid working - 2 days office/ 3 days working from home.
Immediate start
Duties
- Ensure all information is obtained and processed accurately.
- Maintain an accurate inputting of invoices.
- Prioritise queries in order of urgencies and resolve them efficiently.
- Perform general accounts payable duties.
- Action all supplier queries and disputes in a timely manner and escalate if required.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all relevant IT Systems.
- Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to process high volume invoices/deal with supplier queries
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft packages, electronic filing systems)
- Must have Purchase Ledger experience.
- Data Handling - strong technical skills
- Previous experience of office/HR environment
- Educated to GCSE level or above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
