**The role**
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive individual to join our Wareham based office team to help maintain and build our exciting and varied range of businesses The main area of the role will be finance based helping to support the day to day book-keeping for these companies as well helping to develop and bring ideas for business development.
**Finance Support**
- Processing and checking sales auto feeds to Xero
- Raising adhoc sales invoices
- Analise and release events income
- Processing orders from wholesale customers and web orders, despatching orders and raising invoices.
- Processing supplier invoices, making payments.
- Processing company creditcards
- Posting bank transactions, bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- Doing monthly stock takes, reconciliations and stock control
**In addition**:
- Answering the phone
- Support with events bookings and ticket sales.
- Opportunities to help promote and build each business
- Other Ad-hoc duties and general office support
Previous experience working within a finance role using Microsoft Excel and Xero would be an advantage but not essential. An interest in natural history and environmental topics would also be advantageous.
You should be able to work on your own initiative and also work well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
