**FINANCE LEAD**

Our client a leader in airport retail logistics are looking for a lead in their Finance department to provide complete financial oversight for their West Drayton consolidation centre comprising accounting controls, reporting, audit, and continuous process improvement for their critical logistics operation that supports Heathrow Retail Operations at all airport terminals. The role comprises finance oversight for operations (A/R, A/P, payroll, supplies, services, etc.), facility & fleet maintenance, special projects cost accounting, additional services invoicing, contract accounting, etc. The role also requires addressing all areas of process improvement and interactions relevant stakeholders to ensure that all positive process change is seamlessly managed,

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**The specific role requirements comprise, but are not limited to, any of the following;**
- Management of budget
- Debt Management
- Management of Purchase Orders
- Business Forecasting
- Working with the HR team to ensure an accurate reconciliation of Payroll (Monthly and weekly)
- Resolution of all finance related queries
- End to end management of the month end/year end process
- Support the business through financial audits
- Management Accounts
- Actively participate in Monthly Management Reviews and Customer Reviews
- Management of the Apprenticeship Levy
- Managing all aspects of the Finance function to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
- Lead on process change
- Support the design and development of current and new financial processes and systems

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**

Evidence of competence will be **required during the selection process.**

The is role is seeking applicants with proven operations accounting oversight as well as experience and enthusiasm around process improvement and accounting systems integration's.
- Part/Fully Qualified CIMA/ACA
- Strong Knowledge and experience with accounting process development and system implementation
- Process Centric
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Visio (preferably)
- Can demonstrate clear capability in managing complex issues and delivered sustainable results.
- Exceptional customer relationship building skills and proven record of customer relations management
- Innovation, thinks of new ideas and has the influencing skills to highlight what change is right for the business
- Experience of using SAP desirable
- Experience of working in a Finance department within an SME

The jobholder must be a proven team-player with excellent interpersonal skills, experience / aptitude for interaction with high-level management, and has an established a broad range of influencing styles in order to gain commitment/agreement and overcome objections. The applicant must also be a confident and logical communicator both orally and written
