Linkage College is part of Linkage Community Trust. It is an independent further education college offering a specialist learning experience to young people aged 16-25, with a range of learning disabilities, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the work experience team to support clients in developing transferable work skills within a placement. Within this role, you will have responsibility for delivering employability focused sessions across the county, delivering individualised employability programmes, and sourcing new placements and maintaining existing ones. You will be working as part of the supported employment team, working with Clients from Linkage Residential and Community Care Services and external community clients.

**The role will include**:

- Collaboration with key people relevant to the client to maximise their opportunities
- Completion of vocational profiles
- Engaging with employers
- Career development support - job matching, supporting interview processes, on the job support and training

This post is based at Beverley, East Riding but travel may be required.

**About you**:

- Educated to Level 3 or equivalent
- Level 2 (equivalent) Maths and English
- Hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification and assessor’s qualification
- Hold or be willing to work towards the Information, Advice and Guidance Diploma
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities
- Access to a car and willing to travel
- The ability to inspire and mentor others
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
