**Commercial Lead - **Inside IR35**

**Contract Term: 6 Months**

**Contracting Authority: The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office**

**Location: Hybrid - Remote & 2 days per week in Glasgow or London.**

Rosa is a central Government IT system that enables collaborative working at SECRET in a secure environment with the latest technologies Rosa provides fixed and mobile SECRET collaboration tools and communications in 166 countries across the globe, allowing users to create and share data securely

This ground-breaking work is protecting our national security whilst enabling users to work in far better ways than any previous solutions have allowed in this space. As part of the Management Office team, you will work with the Commercial and Financial Manager to support the Commercial Operations. This will include the management of the commercial processes and administration of contract activities

**As a **Commercial Lead **your main responsibilities would be**:

- Working within a commercial team to deliver programme objectives; administering contract database & documentation - analysing & developing ROSA IT Service Programme commercial options & procurement strategies.
- Gathering commercial requirements from spending teams, proactively working across the organisation to ensure future needs are understood and documented.
- Providing commercial & procurement advice to the IT service team on relevant procurement legislations, policy, information, supply market knowledge & commercial experience.
- Reviewing proposals & business cases - providing critical challenge to ensure legal & policy compliance, identification & management of commercial risks & delivery of value for money.
- Developing effective commercial strategies to meet business needs & achieve good commercial outcomes in line with the Commercial Operating Standards.
- Developing & maintaining the pipeline of procurements for the service.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- **_ Active, valid SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role._**:

- Demonstrable Commercial Management experience - ideally within the public sector, working with CCS frameworks.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary project teams & SME’s to develop requirements & contract documents.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Commercial knowledge in the IT / DDaT sector - ideal.
- CIPS qualification - desirable.
- Experience of using JAGGAER / Atlassian - desirable.
