London, United Kingdom Community Fibre Full time

Hi there Thanks for stopping by our job ad.

We’re London’s largest and fastest 100% full fibre broadband provider, bringing better internet to Londoners since 2013. Unlike most providers, we build, own and operate our dedicated fibre optic network and install it directly into the home, meaning we can deliver a super-fast connection at prices the national providers find hard to beat. We’re a relatively new company to the market, but since establishment:

- We’re the only broadband provider on the market offering residential speeds up to 3,000 Mbps.
- Our network covers over 1.3 million properties in London, which is more than one third of homes in the UK’s capital city.
- We have over 800,000 properties under wayleave agreement and are currently working in partnership with more than 200 of London’s biggest landlords.
- We have freely connected over 600 community spaces in 24 boroughs, giving more Londoners free access to fast, reliable broadband.

We’re proud of our achievements so far, but we are not complacent and definitely not stopping here. To help us get to our future, we’re looking for forward thinkers, people with big ideas, people passionate about technology and most importantly hard working team players to join us and be a part of our growing business.

**Job purpose**:
Overall, you will be a core member of Community Fibre’s Marketing and Website Team with the mission to make Community Fibre the fastest growing fibre network in London, bringing internet speeds of up to 3 Gbps to Londoners to get London ready to be a technology leader.

As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for the User Experience of our eCommerce platform on communityfibre.co.uk and beyond. You will work in a small team of UX/UI designers and coordinate with other teams in the company. You will determine choices around user journeys together with the Head of Digital Product.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- UX research: Conduct UX research, including trend benchmarking and competitor analysis.
- UX strategy: Inform and deliver the UX Strategy from a design perspective.
- Customer centricity: Contribute to growing a customer-centric culture by being the voice of the customer in meetings.
- Voice of customer: Working with Product Owners to refine and shape problems for the designers to pick up and to help inform the roadmap around the voice of the customer.
- Hands-on: Being "hands-on" by personally carrying out more complex or time-sensitive UX/UI design projects
- MVP and testing thinking: Derive the MVP for new concepts and develop an approach how the next UX/UI can be tested in close collaboration with the CRO team
- Agile Delivery: Have a strong understanding of agile delivery and deliver the design team’s backlog
- Work iteratively & collaboratively to design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimised for mobile first interface

**The experience we’re looking for you to bring**:

- 3+ years of experience in UX design
- Demonstrated experience with design systems using prototyping tools such as Figma
- Experience with user testing tools (Maze nice to have), Hotjar, Analytics tools
- An exceptional eye for detail, creative and innovative problem solving, and fluency in cutting edge web design patterns
- Strong design thinking and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience translating requirements into design specifications
- Excellent communication skills to be able to deal with Top Management and Stakeholders

**Why join us**:

- You get to work with some of the best technology in the market
- Be part of an exciting scale up business where you can bring your ideas, bring your knowledge, we value your contribution
- We all love time off whether that’s going on an exotic holiday or a staycation, you’ll get 25 days holiday to enjoy, increasing by 1 day for each year of service up to 28 days
- Birthday leave, our treat to you
- Keen cyclist, join our cycle to work scheme
- Flexible WFH policy
- Enjoy the perks of Vitality health
- You get to work with an amazing bunch of people

**What happens next**:
If we think you’re not quite right for the role you have applied for but may be a better fit for another, we’ll definitely let you know.
