**Lunchtime Assistant and Nursery Cleaner**

**Location**: Welwyn Garden City and St Albans

**Hours**:Full-time 930-500- looking for a minimum of 3 days.

**Salary**:£Competitive

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lunchtime Assistant / Nursery Cleaner to join a well-established, family run children’s nursery.

We are looking for a positive energetic cleaner and lunch time assistant, This person would need to travel to Welwyn Garden City and St Albans. We are looking for between 5 - 3 days

5 days - 3 days in WGC 2 days in STA

4 days - 2 Days in WGC 2 days in STA

3 days -2 Days in WGC 1 Days in STA

**About the Role**

This could be your perfect role if you are
- Passionate about preparing food - you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality food cooked from menus devised to meet the nutritional needs of the children and in line with our Food for Life Award.
- Meticulous about the environment we work in - ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout the nursery.
- Highly organised and self-motivated - you will effectively co-ordinate the daily operation of the nursery kitchen and cleaning rota, following a detailed schedule for the day.
- A true team player - you are an active participant and will exhibit commitment to the team in working co-operatively and providing support to the other nursery staff.
- Able to travel to other settings to provide high standards of cleaning.

**Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications**

Skills and Knowledge:

- Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Environmental Health requirements regarding personal hygiene, food hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas and equipment

**Experience**:

- Experience of working in a similar position within a nursery environment (Desirable)

Qualifications:

- Food Hygiene Certificate at Level 2 or equivalent (Essential) Training will be provided.
